Development of a hybrid neural network and transfer learning model for optimized ICP-MS/MS operation

Abstract

Instrument calibration of Tandem inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS/MS) requires manipulation of 30+ parameters and is dependent on analyte properties. Calibration by hand can be subject to human error and may suffer from inadequate knowledge about the analyte. Calibration using Auto-tune feature subject to local optimizations; dependent on order of parameters used in the optimization procedure. Our goal is to create a robust, automated optimization method that captures global optimum settings.
