Ali has more than 20 years of experience as a communications professional, including in strategy development, team and project leadership, and tactical execution spanning all aspects of communications for government, scientific, health care, and public transportation organizations. She currently provides executive communications support to the PNNL Director.

Previously, Ali has supported communications for PNNL research in Earth and biological sciences as well as energy and environment, led communications for the commercialization and economic development teams, and oversaw the Laboratory’s technology transfer awards program. She loves a good communications challenge, particularly in planning and executing communications for maximum impact and writing to convey complex or sensitive subject matter. Ali’s versatile skill set and careful attention to detail, quality, and customer service help her build exceptional relationships with clients and colleagues. Her work has been recognized with domestic and international awards for excellence in communications.
