TCRD Master Plan: Conception to Realization

RJ is the project manager on the master planning commission for the TCRD, including Washington State University's Tri-Cities campus in Richland. He recently led a major renovation of the LEED Silver GSA Social Security Administration Teleservice Center in Auburn, Washington, which received a 2006 GSA Design Honor Award for Sustainability/Adaptive Reuse and a 2007 GSA Environmental Award for Sustainable Design/Green Building. His diverse experience encompasses educational and government facilities, public and private design commissions, and master planning and development. RJ is a passionate leader devoted to TVA's high-performance design efforts.

Tim Wybenga

Tim Wybenga, LEED AP
Senior Associate, TVA Architects Inc.

Currently serving as project designer on the TCRD master plan, Tim recently led the design of Touchmark Heights, a unique adult community comprised of 628 residential units and a major recreation facility on 55 acres in Portland, Oregon. He was the assistant designer of EVO, a 24-story, 500,000-square-foot residential tower in Los Angeles, the subject of a National Geographic television series, L.A. Hard Hats, premiering in August. Tim is a lead project designer with over 15 years experience working on high-profile university projects, commercial offices, and mixed-use residential complexes.
