Bob Price was raised in the Walla Walla/Milton-Freewater area. He began his real estate development career in the grocery business, but later expanded to retail and commercial projects. These projects extended throughout the Northwest area and have included multi-faceted retail centers and complex office buildings for the State of Oregon. Bob’s most recent project was a 240,000 square foot warehouse and 40,000 square foot office building for Bechtel. More intriguing than the size of the project, is that it was completed in 5 months, through the harsh winter season. Currently, as a co-owner of Solaris, Bob is working with the Port of Benton, Battelle and Washington State University on a Master Plan of over 500 acres of land. With almost 100 acres of open land in the Master Plan, Bob expects to build-out several million square feet of office space, retail, light lab space and residential, making the Research District area a destination.
