TechMagination - A Day for Developing a Clean Technology Agenda - August 28, 2007

Be part of the part of the future.

TechMagination: A Day for Developing a Clean Technology Agenda, hosted by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, is a day-long workshop that will bring together the region's clean technology leaders and stakeholders to imagine demonstration and development of clean technologies right here in the Pacific Northwest.

At this workshop, industrial, government, local, and academic interests will work together to generate ideas and draft a plan to demonstrate clean technologies that solve our mutual problems...and open doors to business opportunities. Keynote speaker, John Plaza, president & founder of Imperium Renewables in Seattle will kick-off the workshop inspiring the audience with his experience in and success with sustainable technologies. Panelists from leading northwest companies, including Weyerhaeuser, Fruit Smart, Gen-X Energy, AgriNorthwest, and Integrated Environmental Technologies will discuss their sustainability challenges and thoughts about the future to stimulate productive breakout session discussions. The event will also be joined by Congressman Doc Hastings and Andy Mangan with the U.S. Business Council for Sustainable Development, who will speak on Byproduct Synergy in Washington state.

There are many challenges. Clean technologies can and will make a difference.

The opportunities are big enough that no single organization can address them all.

Imagine the possibilities during a day of focused dialog and planning.
