Application Procedure

To apply to SRI, you need to have identified a mentor at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and discussed your capabilities/research direction with them. If you do not know a scientist at PNNL, you may want to search through two public biosketch systems and see if there are staff that are working on projects/research in your areas of interest. To be eligible for the SRI program, you must have a collaboration in place with a PNNL scientist. Graduate students require the approval of their Thesis advisor. If you do not have a Thesis advisor, you will need permission from an appropriate university professor.

To apply to the Summer Research Institute, fill out an application. Once the application is started, progress is saved and it may be completed at a later date. Letters of recommendation and resume or transcripts will only be collected online.
