Kate Calvin

Integrated Modeling & Energy


Kate Calvin is a research economist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's Joint Global Change Research Institute in College Park, MD. Her research focuses on model development and scenario analysis with the Global Change Assessment Model (GCAM), JGCRI's integrated assessment model. Her recent work has examined the influence of bioenergy on land-use, the impact of climate change on agricultural production, the implications of delayed participation in climate stabilization scenarios, and the influence of second best policies on environmental effectiveness and economic efficiency.
