Elevated Temperature Life Testing (ETLT) Final Test Results
Average Lumen Maintenance
Average lumen output measurement of the 10 lamps tested per model must be greater than 90% of initial (100 hour) lumen output at 1000 hours (measurement error of -3%).
Phase 2 Batch 1
Test results show the overall average lumen maintenance for 10 models (10 samples each) in elevated temperature life testing (ETLT) as of 10,281.6+ hours (10/01/07). This is an aggregate report of lumen maintenance, expressed as a percentage, for all samples subjected to Elevated Temperature Life Testing.
Phase 2 Batch 2
Test results show the overall average lumen maintenance for 13 models (10 samples each) in ETLT as of 8,294.4 hours (10/01/07). This is an aggregate report of lumen maintenance, expressed as a percentage, for all samples subjected to Elevated Temperature Life Testing.
Average Rated Life
R-CFL models moved into ETLT were subjected to a minimum of 6,000 hours of testing to determine their Average Rated Life. Average Rated Life is defined as the point at which 50% of the lamp models in testing are still operating.
Phase 2 Batch 1
Test results show the failed / still operating status for each of the 10 R-CFL models subjected to ETLT as of 10,281.6 hours (10/01/07).
Phase 2 Batch 2
Test results show the failed / still operating status for each of the 13 R-CFL models subjected to ETLT as of 8,294.4 hours (10/01/07).
