VPP Electronic Application Update
Pat Wright demonstrated at length the draft VPP application. Generally, the committee members felt it was well done.
VPP National Conference Summary
Committee members who attended the national conference thought it was well worth the time and were pleased with the choices of breakout sessions. The attendees agreed to write up their notes on the sessions and submit them for information purposes to those who didn't attend.
Web-Based Safety Tracking System
Nancy Isern reported that she, Vern Madson, Mary Ann Showalter, Pat Wright, and Janice Haney met with Lisa Brown, Katie Larson, and Kirby Phelps of the Let's Talk database to discuss our idea for using Let's Talk to implement a web-based safety tracking system. The Let's Talk staff had many concerns about implementing further features to the database, so the Steering Committee representatives opted to research other options.
