Oliver trained as a climate scientist and energy analyst, finding his calling in science communications along the way. Since graduating, Oliver has covered thousands of science stories, ranging from fusion energy breakthroughs to the debuts of the world's most powerful supercomputers. In 2023, he joined PNNL, where he manages communications for the lab's extensive sustainable transportation research portfolio.
