Biography

Melanie Godinez has been with PNNL for more than 20 years, working directly with internal and external clients as well as a broad range of stakeholders and state and local emergency response personnel. She has served in several capacities in the PNNL National Security Directorate, including project manager for the Puget Sound Landside Preventative Radiological/Nuclear Detection Project and project manager for the Boat-to-Boat Detection training project. 

Currently, Melanie is the PNNL project manager administrating the NNSA Graduate Fellowship Program and the group lead for PNNL’s National Security Professional Leadership Group. Together, these efforts are building next-generation leaders for the future of national security.
