Biography

Maren Disney has 15 years of experience in communications with U.S. Department of Energy contractors and an MA in rhetoric and technical communication from Eastern Washington University. Maren joined PNNL in 2014 as a communications specialist focused on national security at the PNNL Seattle Research Center. In her role, Maren translates complex scientific information into user-friendly publications. Her key responsibilities include communications for the NNSA Graduate Fellowship Program and Northwest Regional Technology Center and several technical groups spanning global security technology and policy, next-generation leadership development, and mission alignment. Before joining PNNL, Maren was a communications specialist at CH2M Plateau Remediation Company, where she developed information products showcasing environmental cleanup at the Hanford Site and nuclear decommissioning projects around the world.
