Kris Cook has been part of PNNL’s visual analytics team since 1996, and for five years managed PNNL’s visual analytics research group. She is co-editor of the first science and technology agenda for visual analytics.  Kris has led many visual analytics research and development projects, coordinated university collaborations in the field, and championed an innovative consortium bringing together researchers in industry, academia, and government. Her current interests include human-system collaboration and teaming and the use of mixed initiative techniques to support problem solving.
