Kerrie Rohlfing currently performs as the group leader for Disruptive Technology, a group that focuses on emerging technologies by integrating capabilities across electromagnetics, systems modeling, algorithm development, and systems design to serve as a flywheel for feeding technology advancements into capabilities across the Signature Science and Technology Division.

She joined PNNL in 2005 with a BS in mechanical engineering and later obtained her MS in engineering and technology management.  She performed for 10 years as an engineer, followed by 5+ years as a project manager and then as a technical team lead for a large software development team focusing on risk and decisions sciences.  Her expertise is in oversight for the design, development, and testing of complex integrated multi-technology systems. These systems often include integrating both mechanical and informational aspects.

She has experience managing multiple concurrent critical technology assessment campaigns, handling the technology readiness requirements, and coordinating with operational environments and logistics, while coordinating engineering personnel to conduct work. These efforts support DHS CWMD, DHS CBP, DOE NNSA, DOE ORP, and a range from radiation detection technology field test management to Hanford tank farm vapor data access and visualization.
