How To Apply
Interested students can apply by going to the Jobs at PNNL website. Register to create your login and upload or copy your current resume.

When asked to upload your resume to your application, you need to upload one (1) PDF file that includes the following:
- Current Resume or CV
- Unofficial Transcripts for all current and past degrees
- a 300-word essay describing why you are interested in an National Security Internship and what you hope to get out of the program
Applications that do not include the items above in their single PDF upload will be disqualified as ineligible. Letters of recommendation may also be requested.
After providing your resume, you will be returned to the job openings page. Enter the NSIP Job ID number or the word "Intern" into the keyword search box and click the search button. Click the title of the job in which you are interested and click the "Apply Now" button; follow any other on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Internship applications/resumes/letters of recommendation will be disseminated to PNNL's National Security Internship Program Review Committee for review and selection. Evaluation of candidates for summer 2010 internship positions will begin August 10, 2009. Application deadline for summer 2010 internship consideration is April 12, 2010.
Early application submittal is highly recommended to obtain maximum consideration. If chosen for an interview, intern applicants will be notified.
Internship applicants will be notified in a timely manner regarding selection/non-selection decision.
Selections are based on applicants' academic achievements, prior experience and technical interest.
