Current Openings

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is recruiting summer interns for the NSIP. We are looking for students studying electrical and chemical engineering, electronics, computer science, physics, chemistry, math, biology, nuclear science and engineering, and international security studies. Position descriptions for our NSIP interns are listed below.

Evaluation of candidates for summer 2010 internship positions will begin August 10, 2009. Application deadline for summer 2010 internship consideration is April 12, 2010.

  • Click here to apply for the Post-Doctorate Research Associate - Position 117835 This position is for students that would like to work at the laboratory after completing their PhD. Applicants for this position should be planning to stay at the laboratory for at least 6 months, but less than 24 months.
  • Click here to apply for the Post-Master's Research Associate - Position 117834. This position is for students who would like to work at the Laboratory while completing their PhD dissertation. Applicants for this position should be planning to stay at the Laboratory for at least 6 months.
  • Click here to apply for the Post-Bachelor's Research Associate - Position 117833. This position is for students who would like to work at the Laboratory for an extended time between their Bachelors and graduate program. This position may also be use for students to work at the Laboratory while completing their Masters Thesis. Applicants for this position should be planning to stay at the Laboratory for at least 6 months but less than 24 months.
