Safety, Licensing and Regulatory Analysis
Under this umbrella, PNNL staff provide management leadership and technical support, primarily for nuclear-related applications, in the following areas:
- Engineering and technical design
- Reactor fuel performance assessment
- Foreign and domestic reactor operations and procedures
- Safety analysis/assessment reports and authorization bases
- Risk assessment and accident investigations
- Licensing and compliance issues
- Export control and material protection
- Regulatory development and enforcement, and standardized review plans
