Social and Collaborative Computing
Social and Collaborative Computing applies cognitive, social, and behavioral science in the design of information technology systems to enable efficient collaboration while supporting the natural social behaviors that must exist among groups of individuals and intelligent systems. We leverage social computing concepts, such as virtual presence, shared annotation mechanisms, and trust/reputation protocols, to customize effective solutions for our clients. In addition, a recent thrust has been in Social Media Analytics—the ability to understand the how people are using social technologies such as blogs and web forums to publish their message for wide consumption.
