Knowledge Systems
The Knowledge Systems Group is responsible for Knowledge-Based Information Analytics, which is the science of analytical reasoning facilitated by tools and techniques of cognitive science, social and behavioral science, artificial intelligence and human-information interaction. Because the management of knowledge is fundamental to the research process, our staff and associated projects span a wide array of technical disciplines and application areas. However, we share a common footing in our scientific foundations and core competencies. The research performed by members of the Knowledge Systems Group fall into the following five main scientific foundations:
