Katie Knobbs
Katie Knobbs manages software developers across the complete software lifecycle — from proposal development to production support — at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. She has managed several projects including the Electronic Prep & Risk System (EPR) for PNNL's Business Systems Division and WebPMIS — a suite of software applications that Department of Energy and Federal Emergency Manage clients use to manage projects within their portfolio.
Knobbs has recently led a team in the design and development of a permission intensive data management architecture that abstracts the fundamentals of WebPMIS to provide a flexible and rapid deployment framework. This framework is currently in production for seven websites both within and outside the WebPMIS client base.
Education: B.S., Computer Science, Pacific Lutheran University.
History: Knobbs joined PNNL staff in 2000, immediately after her graduation from Pacific Lutheran University.
Recognition: Katie has received several Outstanding Performance Awards since her time at PNNL.
