Information Infrastructure Integrity Initiative

Information Infrastructure Integrity

The initiative aims to define, develop and validate a new proactive-predictive-adaptive strategy that enables information infrastructure operators to anticipate and adaptively respond to attacks in real time to prevent loss of information integrity and system failure. Expected impacts include:

  • Creating a new and fundamentally different approach, methods and tools for cyber security and information integrity that is predictive and adaptive rather than reactive.
  • Strengthening PNNL's program base, especially in fundamental research areas.
  • Enabling PNNL to provide revolutionary, next-generation information integrity solutions for all mission areas.
  • Strengthening and expanding capabilities in mathematics, algorithms, analysis, modeling and social-behavioral sciences.
