For a more secure world, PNNL researchers are developing sophisticated sensor systems to detect a range of threats worldwide.

Each year Pacific Northwest National Laboratory hosts a large number of interns to educate future scientists and engineers for the nation. The research experiences at the Laboratory enhance the education of the interns as well as provide a new sense of energy and excitement within our own staff.

PNNL provides technology integration and other operational support to this important mission, including engagement with the academic community to address the most pressing needs in research and development and facilitate advanced analytical insight to meet DHS missions.
