Several important chemical reactions can be miniaturized due to enhanced heat and mass transfer rates that have been realized in a proprietary microcomponent "sheet architecture." Hardware volumes can be significantly reduced for reactions that convert hydrocarbons to synthesis gas and for other important hydrocarbon processing reactions.
