Microchannel fuel processors could be used to produce hydrogen rich streams needed by fuel cells. These devices could be used in-situ or at the well head.
Microchannel separation devices can be used to concentrate carbon dioxide so that it can be pumped underground. This would reduce the amount of carbon dioxide emitted to the atmosphere.
