Scope

The International Conference on Fusion Reactor Materials (ICFRM) is the major international forum for the exchange of information about materials to be used in fusion power systems. The scope of ICFRM-9 includes materials selection, engineering, and research related to both near and long term fusion applications. Materials issues and materials engineering for both magnetic fusion and inertial fusion concepts are to be discussed.

The Conference provides an excellent opportunity for materials researchers to report on recent technical progress, to discuss key issues and to formulate ways of addressing those issues in the future. The working language of the Conference is English.

List of Topics

  1. Blanket materials and technology
  2. Coatings and barriers
  3. Corrosion and compatibility
  4. Design-materials interface
  5. Dielectrics, insulators, windows and optics
