Rooms and Rates

The Guest House at PNNL offers 81 guest rooms.

• Six-, seven-, and eight-room suites which total 43 individual bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom
• Thirty-five single queen rooms
• Three one-bedroom apartments.

Each room in the Guest House is equipped with its own private telephone line and individual telephone number but there is no central switchboard at the Guest House. Incoming calls to the phone number in your room will ring directly in your room. On arrival, please notify business contacts, friends or family of the telephone number in your room to receive your calls directly. Incoming calls to the Guest House office (509-372-6736) will be directed to your room by the Guest House staff or by our 24-hour control room staff.

In-room fax service is available in all single queen rooms. Please inform front desk staff if you require a fax machine in your room.

All rooms have access to landscaped courtyards with tables and benches, vending machines, exercise room, and coin-operated laundry facilities. Housekeeping and linen services are done weekly in the multi-room suites. In the single queen rooms a daily refresh is provided Monday through Friday (for stays over 30 days housekeeping is provided once a week).

If you have special needs, such as handicapped shower chairs or other items please contact the office.

Playpens, high-chairs, and other special items are available for a small additional charge. Advance notification is required to ensure availability.

A damage deposit in the amount of $250.00 is required of guests who do not provide a credit card or work package number. This deposit can be made by check or money order payable to PNNL/Guest House. If no damage is incurred to the room or common areas you are assigned, the full amount will be refunded within a week of departure from the laboratory.

As an update to our Guest House at PNNL room rates, an extended stay rate of $45.00/night plus taxes (total $51.13) will be offered to any group that commits to 60 or more room nights in a 30 day period. Taxes can be waived where an individual stays for 30 or more continuous days (as allowed by Washington State Department of Revenue special notice dated 9/1/2001). Our extended stay rate excludes breakfast food, and housekeeping service is provided one time per week, or more frequently as guests rotate in and out.

Room nights will be tracked on a calendar month basis. If a group falls short of their commitment (60 room nights in a 30 day period) they will be responsible for the full 60 room nights at the reduced rate of $45.00 plus all taxes.

Reservations can be made up to three months in advance. Cancellations and changes must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance to avoid charges of one night's room and tax.

On a case-by-case basis, a determination will be made as to whether or not rates will be lowered to match a competing offer.
