Training
The FEDS software is user-friendly with context-sensitive help; however, if you want to learn FEDS from an expert, hands-on training workshops are available through the U.S. Department of Energy's Federal Energy Management Program and Rebuild America Program, or customized workshops for your organization can also be arranged.
Attend either a one-day introductory course or a two-day advanced course -- or BOTH!
Introduction to FEDS
Explore the features and capabilities of FEDS 5.0 and learn how to use the software in the Introduction to FEDS workshop. Discussions and hands-on exercises are combined to give you an understanding of the software, how to input data, modify parameters, and run FEDS to analyze savings opportunities.
Advanced FEDS*
Bring your own facility information (a list of required information will be provided upon registration) and have instructors help you: 1) prepare your FEDS case, 2) run FEDS on your case, 3) study FEDS results, and 4) identify potential projects. (Given the hands-on nature of this course, class size is limited, so sign up early!)
*Prerequisite: Introduction to FEDS or familiarity with FEDS software
You may check the availability of upcoming workshops at http://www.pnl.gov/femp/ or call 509-372-4368 for further information about FEDS training.
