Decision-Making Software for Energy Efficiency
Facility Energy Decision System, or FEDS, is a Windows-based software tool that can quickly and objectively identify energy improvements that maximize savings. With limited user input, this program can:
- Develop a building prototype and engineering parameters
- Calculate electrical demand and energy consumption
- Determine potential retrofits and their cost effectiveness
- Provide detailed analysis of single buildings or large installations with many buildings
- Put you well on your way to meeting Executive Order 13123 requirements

FEDS was developed by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory with funding from the U.S. Department of Energy's Federal Energy Management Program and Rebuild America Program, the Defense Commissary Agency, Naval Facilities Engineering Services Center, U.S. Army Installation Management Agency (IMA) Southeast Region Office (SERO), and U.S. Army Construction Engineering and Research Laboratory.
