Experience:
Graham Parker began his career at PNNL nearly 34 years ago. His recent work has focused on projects to convert hydrogen-containing materials to synthetic fuels. He has led the technology- and market-based analysis for the development of the business case for converting coal to liquid transportation fuels for the private and public sectors. This work has also focused on the siting, infrastructure, environmental management strategies for synthetic fuel plants.
Other significant work has involved identification of technologies and strategies for the federal sector to meet federally-mandated energy- and water-efficiency goals. A key part of this work is the verification of the performance of new technologies combined with market transformation approaches to accelerate the introduction and deployment of new and emerging technologies.
He is the author of over 100 publications and he has made over 60 technical presentations to national and international audiences. Graham also participates in the Battelle-sponsored Community Science and Technology Seminar Series and in Battelle's Sharing Science with Schools program, speaking on energy and energy efficiency topics.
