Experience:
Jeff McCullough is a Senior Research Engineer with TP&D and has been with PNNL for 7 years. His main area of focus is in energy efficient technologies, particularly lighting and HVAC technologies. Most recently Mr. McCullough has led development of technical performance criteria for LED lighting fixtures, in support of the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) Lighting R&D program. Mr. McCullough earlier provided primary technical support for DOE's high-efficiency commercial air conditioners, energy-efficient residential recessed downlights and integral reflector compact fluorescent lamp (R-CFL) technology procurements. He has extensive experience with residential and commercial HVAC system efficiency, operation and troubleshooting, knowledge of national energy codes/standards including ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1 and the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). He received a Presidential Energy Management award in 2004 for leadership in PNNL's campus-wide energy management program.
Jeff is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP) through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He is also Lighting Certified (LC) through the National Council on the Qualifications of the Lighting Professional. Jeff is a past President and on the Board of Governors for the Mid-Columbia Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
