Experience:
Terri Gilbride joined PNNL in 1986 and works in PNNL's Portland office. Terri supports the U.S. DOE's Solid-State Lighting (SSL) Commercialization Support program and DOE's Building America program. Terri has worked on numerous projects in support of DOE efforts to speed the market introduction and acceptance of advanced energy-efficient technologies in residential and commercial applications. Recently she coauthored a report on lessons learned through the market introduction of compact fluorescent lighting in America. She has also coauthored several best practices guides for builders of energy efficient and solar homes.
Before joining the Energy Science and Technology Directorate, Terri worked in PNNL's Communications department where her communications skills were put to work in support of numerous proposal, outreach, and reporting efforts for the Energy, Environmental, and Fundamental Sciences directorates. Efforts there included producing annual reports for the Fundamental Sciences Directorate, a siting study for DOE's Global Nuclear Energy Partnership, web sites, NEPA documentation, two winning R&D 100 nominations, and numerous reports and journal articles for Natural Resources and other divisions.
