Aldo P. Melendez

Experience

Aldo Melendez develops designs and manages the installation of non-intrusive radiation detection systems to ensure national border security. In addition, Mr. Melendez conducts assessments for the energy efficiency resource potential of facilities ranging from single buildings to large Federal installations, and participates in teams that work to accelerate the market adoption of new, energy efficient technologies.

Before commencing his career with PNNL in 2000, Aldo served for seven years in the United States Navy as a submarine nuclear propulsion plant supervisor, mechanical nuclear reactor operator, and radiological technician. In addition, Aldo served for three years in the Air National Guard as a telecommunications technician. He is presently pursuing a Master in Engineering Management. Aldo Melendez speaks, writes and reads fluently in Spanish.
