General Description
TRIDEC's mission is to achieve economic stability and balanced growth through the retention and creation of jobs and the enhancement of the quality of life in the region. TRIDEC works closely with city, port and county officials as well as property owners and a wide variety of organizations to assist existing business while attracting new business to the region.

TRIDEC, via the Tri-Cities Asset Reinvestment Company, LLC., serves as the redeployment mechanism for all excess Hanford equipment. This equipment is made available to local business through community auctions held at various times throughout the year.
Site Selection
TRIDEC is the lead economic development marketing agency for the communities in Benton and Franklin counties. TRIDEC works closely with businesses interested in expanding or relocating to the region. TRIDEC staff members work with all the region's cities and ports and private developers to stay abreast of the available sites and buildings in the area.
