General Description

The SBDC is a no-fee service agency, funded by the Washington Small Business Development Center Network, Columbia Basin College, and supported by TRIDEC. The SBDC provides assistance to entrepreneurs and to business owners and managers to preserve and grow their businesses.

Assistance Available

Education/Training
SBDC provides reasonably priced seminars, taught by business professionals. Topics range from exploring business start-up options to understanding cash flow management within an existing business. Classes are listed on the website. SBDC provides talks, information sessions, and workshops for business groups and associations.

General Management/Business Planning
Assist business owners in analyzing and developing their financial records for business management decisions. The SBDC helps businesses understand commercial lending, SBA loan guarantees, local loan funds, and helps in developing loan or other financing packages.

Information Source
Provide clients with market research, current demographics, industry statistics, links to trade associations, trade publications, business financial benchmarks, and assistance in understanding tax, licensing, and registration requirements.
