Trade waste products to reduce business costs
A new association invites business members.
The Eastern Washington Industrial Byproducts Recycling association invites businesses to become members. This newly formed trading group is seeking 20 companies that are interested in forming solutions to recycle or redistribute excess waste products. Members will learn which products are available from other businesses that can be used within their own operations, such as compost, plastics, pallets, and hauling equipment. The group has traded over 200,000 pounds of byproducts since January 2008. The next quarterly meeting is scheduled for 8 am on Wednesday, May 29 at the TRAC Center in Pasco, Wash.
