Research District shines at national forum
The Tri-Cities Research District was represented at the Federal Economic Development Forum in April 2008.
Tri-City Research District representatives were invited to give a case-study presentation at the Federal Economic Development Forum, hosted by the International Economic Development Council in Washington, DC in April. The chair of the Research District Board spoke on the topic: "Partnerships for Creating an Entrepreneurial Environment." This session featured innovative entrepreneurial development activities and community partnerships involving business plan competitions, entrepreneurial mentoring programs, and enterprise forums.
