PocketiNet's network adds Los Angeles backup

Self-healing backup network
A new backup Internet data center enables PocketiNet Communications, Inc. to continue providing reliable high-speed Internet connections to its customers, even in an emergency. The company, with offices in Kennewick and Walla Walla, Wash., has added a backup data center and feed in Los Angeles to its existing statewide backbone network. Now, in case of a natural disaster or other unexpected outage to the Seattle region, where the company originates its services, PocketiNet can serve its customers from Los Angeles. If a fiber outage occurs, the network will "self-heal," or automatically switch over to another path. PocketiNet Communications provides broadband services to business and enterprise customers in Eastern Washington and Northeast Oregon. Contact Todd Brandenburg
