Meier Architecture - Engineering, based in Kennewick, Wash., was named one of "Washington's Best 100 Companies to Work For." The company ranked 22nd in the small business category on the list compiled by Seattle Business Magazine. The magazine selected companies that are "setting the standard for leadership in creating a positive work environment for employees in the areas of benefits, information sharing and training programs and more." Meier also received the 2009 Best of Kennewick Award in the Mechanical Engineering category from the U.S. Commerce Association. The organization's "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country based on achieving exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category.
