Tri-Cities ranked second nationally for job outlook
Forbes named the Tri-Cities as the number two spot in the country for job growth next quarter. The story "Best Cities for New Jobs This Spring" cites the region's "impressive number of engineers and scientists" and research being conducted in fields such as biofuels and fuel cells. The area's projected net employment outlook came in at +19%, second only to nearby Yakima, Wash. throughout the country.
