Development grand funding offered
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory, a U.S. Department of Energy facility in Golden, Colo., will issue a Solicitation for Letters of Interest to small businesses for the development of prototype photovoltaic modules and pilot production. This solicitation is targeted at innovative research and development on photovoltaic cell and module prototypes with demonstrated functionality in either large-area cell/module form prototypes produced in pilot-scale operations. Six to 10 subcontracts, worth up to three million dollars each, are expected to be awarded as 18-month phased subcontracts.
