Gary Spanner
Gary Spanner was named the Outstanding Alumnus of the year by the Columbia Basin College Foundation. Spanner manages the Economic Development Office at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Wash and is also the chair of the Tri-Cities Research District that is home to numerous technology businesses. Spanner performs community service with the United Way, Tri-City Development Council, and Junior Achievement, and received the Sam Volpentest Entrepreneurial Leadership Award in 2006.
