Local company provides medical isotopes to Kadlec Medical Center
Advanced Medical Isotope Corporation , Kennewick, Wash, delivered its first shipment of short-lived medical isotopes to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Wash. The isotopes will be used in positron emission tomography, which enables detailed measurement of the functions of specific areas of a body while also allowing the patient to remain conscious, comfortable, and alert.
