MAY 30. "Nighttime Astronomy: What We See When Looking Up" is the topic of a galactic-size "eyes-on" tour of the night sky. Amateur astronomer Roy Gephart and Columbia Basin College Observatory Director Mike Durst will reveal the secrets of stars and tell the story of how the CBC Observatory became a reality. The talk is part of the Community Science and Technology Seminar Series sponsored by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Columbia Basin College.
