Manufacturing assistance available to NIH SBIR winners


Applications are due February 14 for the National Institutes of Health's free Manufacturing Assistance Program, which is a partnership with the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Manufacturing Extension Partnership program. The program is aimed at helping small companies identify and overcome manufacturing issues related to the commercialization of SBIR-developed products. Companies must have won NIH Phase II Small Business Innovation Research funding from 2003 to the present. Twenty-five companies will be selected by March 2008. Program information, eligibility requirements, and application instructions are available.
