SBIR proposal writing tip: resubmitting a proposal to NIH
Unlike some other agencies, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) allow SBIR and STTR applicants to resubmit unsuccessful grant proposals. An unfunded proposal can now be resubmitted once, a change from the past practice in which NIH would allow two resubmittals. Those who submitted an SBIR or STTR proposal to NIH that was not funded may want to take advantage of this resubmission opportunity.
