The William R. Wiley Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory: advancing scientific frontiers.
The Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory has issued its 2008 call for proposals. EMSL is a U.S. Department of Energy national scientific user facility located on the campus of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Wash. The 225,000-square-foot facility houses some of the world's most advanced research equipment and makes available the multidisciplinary expertise of 200 scientific consultants in chemical, physical, biological, and computational sciences. The proposal deadline is May 15, 5 pm Pacific time. More information, including contacts, is available online.
