About the Event
Advancing clean technology in the Pacific Northwest is the cornerstone of the emerging Tri-Cities Research District (TCRD). On December 2, the TCRD will have the distinct privilege of unveiling, for the first time in Eastern Washington, a new documentary that highlights companies and institutions identified as significant contributors to the statewide clean technology effort. Some of those companies are from our own backyard.
More About the Documentary
From Emmy-winning producer Hal Calbom of Calbom Communications, the 55-minute film features technologies being developed, candid commentary from political leaders about the need for clean technology, and interviews with technology developers leading the charge. Calbom produced the documentary for the Washington Clean Technology Alliance to help showcase Washington State as a clean technology leader. Featured interviews with several Eastern Washington-based companies, including a few from the Tri-Cities area, help reveal the powerful impact being made by this side of the state.

There is no charge to attend this event; however you must pre-register by noon, Monday, December 1, 2008. Light reception to immediately follow.
