What is it: The Mid-Columbia Sustainable Business Network aims to help participants learn how to turn sustainable business strategies into a winning formula for a new kind of economic development in the region, and as a way to make regional businesses widely competitive in the environmental and social challenges of a 21st century world.
Organizers hope the monthly meetings will provide a path towards increased awareness; and will highlight the ease and importance of environmental sustainability and responsibility.
Who should come: Businesses, academia, non profit organizations, government agencies, private citizens and anyone who is interested in promoting socially and environmentally sustainable business practices in the Mid-Columbia region
