The Washington Policy Center (WPC), along with their Eastern Washington Advisory Board memebrs, invites you to a special reception and wrap-up of the 2009 legislative Session for its supporters and those interested in learning more about their work.
The event takes place May 28 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Home Builders Association of the Tri-Cities located at 10001 W. Clearwater Avenue in Kennewick, Wash.
This WPC-hosted event will discuss the recently completed Session focusing on how it will affect you and your business. WPC president, Daniel Meade Smith, and his research center directors will give a review of their work during this Session including presentations on the state budget, taxes, healthcare, education, the environment, small business issues--and what top issues to look for during the remainder of this year.
WPC is the premier independent policy organization in Washington state. They publish studies, sponsor events and conferences, and educate citizens on publicpolicy issues facing our state. They provide legislators, the media and ceitizens with important analysis of current policy issues and recommendations to improve public policy in our region.
