Several surveys have been performed on the Hanford Site since the 1960’s. The list below is only a
partial listing of the species that have been observed and identified on Site. The species listed here
are primarily from Zack and Looney, 1998
and
Rogers and Rickard, 1977.
Data from several other reports, primarily from the 1970’s, are being added to the database and will be listed in the future. Listings group insects and arachnids first by the common name of their order, then by family and scientific name. A listing is provided for each unique organism to the highest classification level possible.
